Garrett R. Van Wagoner Funds is President of Van Wagoner Capital Management. In 1999 Mr. Van Wagoner was Valueline's "Manager of the Year".1 Prior to founding Van Wagoner Capital Management, Inc. in 1995, Mr. Van Wagoner managed the Govett Smaller Companies Fund for three years. As portfolio manager of the Govett Smaller Companies Fund, Mr. Van Wagoner was responsible for it's day-to-day management and the selection of its investments.

Mr. Van Wagoner also worked with Bessemer Trust, N.A. and has over 20 years experience of equity portfolio management. He is a graduate of Bucknell University.

1Value Line, Inc. selects the Manager of the Year by analyzing over 12,000 mutual funds using quantitative and qualitative objectives including the fund manager's long-term investment performance of the fund versus sector peers and/or relative to other sectors, risk versus return performance, investment philosophy, and other unique factors specific to the fund manager. Approximately 20 Value Line mutual fund analysts assist in selecting the Value Line Mutual Fund Manager of the Year.
